Two shapes are widely used by potters, altho we can produce others as needed:
EMPIRE By far the favorite. The Empire has a bottom about twice as wide as the top. The side slant can be about as tall as your lamp, altho it is usually a few inches shorter than your lamp.
Here is a list of Empire sizes that we stock in our retail store. Use them as starting points for your own lamps, rather than slavishly following them. We do the same with our retail customers, changing the dimensions at will, to make our customers' lamps look as good as possible:

COOLIE Coolies are named after Chinese coolie hats. Artists love them. The bottom is about three times as wide as the top.
